Vario 60 RGBW selected by DPA Lighting Consultants to illuminate the iconic entrance of
The BoTree Hotel, London.
The BoTree Hotel aesthetic atmosphere is the perfect blend of Marylebone charm and Mayfair elegance. It is a sophisticated project dialoguing and harmonizing with an urban reality known for its uniqueness.The hotel offers 199 rooms and 30 contemporary suites with a cosmopolitan and elegant style.
An eloquent synthesis of The BoTree Hotel style can be found in the architecture of its iconic lattice entrance, with sinuous bronze lines creating an elegant veil over the spacious balconies of corner suites. The sumptuousness of this screen is enhanced by lush vegetation and flowers, while in the evening, the sophisticated light effects designed by DPA Lighting Consultants add an engaging and dynamic experience, highlighting the project’s personality.
For the lighting of the iconic lattice, the choice of fixtures fell on unonovesette’s Vario 60RGBW, selected for both their optical properties and intrinsic product quality, as well as for the long and productive collaboration between DPA Lighting Consultants and unonovesette. The challenges posed by the design were resolved in synergy with the R&D department of unonovesette, which developed a special shielding to direct the light flow in a way that enhances the architectural structure without spilling light onto the balconies of the suites. Also unique to the installation was the coloring of the Vario 60 RGBW, created according to specifications of DPA Lighting Consultants.
